News from all over this weekend! In Las Vegas, Cortney Ellish raced the Vegas Sunrise Tri at the Olympic distance and Jeremiah Herrman raced the Sprint. Cortney took an impressive 2nd overall female with a time of 2:45 on the hot, windy and hilly course. Jeremiah came home in 1:58 in the sprint and took 10th in his AG.
Further north, Dorothy Waterhouse raced the Barking Dog Duathlon in CO and finished in 1:53 over the 5K run, 30K bike and 5K run. That was good enough for 2nd in her AG. Dorothy is racing IM Boulder later this summer.
Julie Kimball and Paul Kluzak raced the South Mountain Bike Time Trial here in Phoenix. Julie finished in 38:17 and took 2nd in her category. Paul finished in23:04 and took 8th in his category.
We also want to wish our 18-year-olds – Riley Wardrop and Colton Van Wagoner – good luck for this weekend. They are both racing Ironman Texas. It is their first IM and they will be the two youngest racers in the field. Good luck guys!!
