Duathlon Nationals, Eugene Marathon, Pinal County Air Park Sprint, Whiskey Off Road MTB, Tour of the Tucson Mountains

Congratulations to CJ Ketterer who qualified for the Boston Marathon this weekend at the Eugene Marathon. CJ needed a time of 3:45 and came home in 3:38! Nice job CJ!

Also, racing at Duathlon Nationals in Tucson, Matt Conrad clocked a 1:47 and took 24th in his AG while David Demask finished in 1:52 and took 21st in his AG. Kara Gibson completed the course in 2:03 and took 17th in her AG which qualified her for the Duathlon World Championships in Nancy, France!

Chris Duval raced just up the road at the Pinal County Air Park Sprint Tri and took 5th overall with a time of 1:05!

On the bike, Andrew Schear raced the Whiskey Off Road MTB event in Prescott and finished in 3:06 taking 110th place out of 700 racers. In Tucson, James Sun and Jim Rassi used the Tour of the Tucson Mountains 72-miler as a good long training ride.

Good luck to all of you racing the Rio Salado race this weekend. Also, good luck to Toby Baum and Jenifer Garner who are racing the last IM St. George.  And finally, good luck to our athletes headed to Woodstock, errr, Wildflower Triathlon: Joan McGue, Andrew Schear, and Thomas Taylor.
